Philip + Katherine | Maine Backyard Summer Wedding

From our very first meeting, I knew these two were something awesome! They described the most wonderful, laid back wedding day, focusing on enjoying a day with friends, family and lots of good food. Fast forward 10 months and all that (and more) came true!

Philip and Katherine said “I do” at a beautiful private residence in central Maine. Most of the day was on-and-off rain showers, but the rain held off for their outdoor ceremony and the sun even peaked out at the same moment they walked down the aisle together!

We snuck away for a few minutes following the ceremony to take some portraits, which also allowed them both take a deep breath and absorb that they just got MARRIED! I would recommend to anyone to incorporate this time into your wedding day timeline. This also allows me to capture some genuine moments between the two of you – there is nothing like the smile on your face immediately after becoming Mr. & Mrs!

The rest of the evening was filled with touching speeches, dancing and lots of laughter! The Uproot Pie Co and Barred Owl Creamery & Catering served up delicious oven fired pizzas and fresh salads. Personal favorite part of the day: taking home a yummy hot-from-the-oven pizza of my own. Wedding photographer perks!

Congratulations to Philip and Katherine! Keep scrolling to see more from their wedding day.
