Aaron and Jocelyn’s Pemaquid engagement session definitely gave me a few good old nostalgia feels. It is hard to believe Jocelyn and I have flown through 10+ years of friendship and we are both ENGAGED! I love thinking back to our 6th grade awkward days – specifically the excessive amount of photo shoots we had growing up. And if you’re wondering, no, those photos won’t see the light of day anytime soon. I am so glad to be able to plan our weddings together even when it means texting each other amist a minor mental breakdown because, well, sometimes planning a wedding is hard.
Pemaquid is one of my favorite places for photo sessions. There is something about the glow of the light on the coast that is always perfect. We started the evening at Fort William Henry. To be honest, it was the first time I had been able to explore inside the fort, even after all the times I have done photo sessions there! From the fort, we spontaneously headed to nearby Pemaquid Beach. Although it wasn’t part of our original plan, we had some extra time and it was too pretty to pass up! It ended up being a good call, because some of my favorite images were taken there! We finished up their engagement session at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. Aaron was a great sport as we dragged him from location to location!
Their August wedding will be here before we know it! I am so excited to stand beside these two as they say “I do”. Keep scrolling to see some of my favorites from this beautiful Pemaquid engagement session!
For all you other 2019 couples, now is a great time to find your perfect photographer!
