Maine has thousands of beautiful places to get married, but eloping Acadia National Park holds a very special place in my heart as a wedding photographer. The park during autumn is particularly beautiful and it is one of my favorite times of year to make the trip downeast.
Ben + Hannah chose Bar Harbor for their intimate wedding after getting engaged in Compass Harbor. As a sweet nod to their engagement, they chose the same place to have their first look on their wedding day! The entire day was filled with many similar thoughtful touches. They said “I do” in Acadia National Park, surrounded by a group of their closest friends and family. After their ceremony, we took some time to explore the park and photograph portraits of the newlyweds. The remainder of their day was spent celebrating with yummy drinks and even yummier food at Project Social in downtown Bar Harbor.
It was an honor to be there to document this beautiful Bar Harbor elopement. Congratulations, Ben + Hannah!
