May 15th was the best Wednesday ever.
I have known Gabby and Colton for several years now. Thank you to horses for bringing us together! They are both two of the kindest and funniest people I know, and I really love their love for each other. They chose to have their intimate wedding in Bar Harbor, just before the craziness of tourist season began on the island.
Their ceremony was on the rocks of Otter Cliff in Acadia National Park, tucked away behind the pine trees off Park Loop Road and overlooking the ocean. Afterwards Gabby, Colton and I spent time taking pictures around the island, including at the beautiful Asticou Gardens in Northeast Harbor. Their reception dinner was held at the brand new Porcelli’s Restaurant, which opened a day early for their party!
One of my favorite parts of Gabby and Colton’s wedding day were the amount of personal details they chose to include. Gabby’s amazing Morgan horse Stetson, who passed away last year, was a huge part of their day and his memory was honored with horse hair rings and cufflinks, and his portrait on her bouquet. Gabby’s custom embroidered Blundstone boots were another highlight, and have since been featured worldwide by Blundstone!
