I think one of the most important aspects of having a photography business is having your clients know exactly who is on the other side of the camera! This blog post is here to do just that!

I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. When I was a toddler, I LOVED using my Sesame Street toy camera. Fast forward 10 years to when I saved up and bought my first DSLR. Soon, Melissa Gebert Photography was officially born!

Horses have always been a huge part of my life. I have ridden since I was five! Right now, I own a Thoroughbred/Hanovarian mare named Twizzler. Although work and school keep me from riding as much as I would like to, time at the barn is still one of my favorite things.

In the fall of 2015, I finally got a dog! After YEARS of searching and waiting for the right time, I finally found the best dog I could ask for! His name is Bo and he is a Labrador Retriever mix who was rescued from the south and brought here to Maine at three months old.

Lastly, there is Brad. After two years together, I still think he’s pretty cool.
