Oxbow Brewing Portland Maine Wedding | Chris + Sammy

Chris and Sammy’s Oxbow Brewing wedding in Portland, Maine was so wonderfully memorable.

They started the morning with a first look in downtown Portland, overlooking lobster boats in the working harbor. From there, they chose to exchange private vows on the Eastern Prom, just a short trip away. It was quiet and intimate, just for them (and their photographer sidekick 👋🏼). For moments like these, I like to step away with a zoom lens and silently capture it all unfolding while allowing their words to be truly private.

Afterwards, the celebration kicked into gear! They rented a trolley to ride through Portland with their wedding party and family and took a quick joy ride around the Old Port before heading to Oxbow Brewing for their wedding. The whole day had this incredible balance of fun and intention. No stress, just joy.

At Oxbow, the laid-back vibe fit Chris and Sammy perfectly. Pizza catering, a packed dance floor, good beer, and all of their favorite people. It felt like one big celebration of love and connection. Chris and Sammy are incredibly kind people with such a grounded, genuine relationship. Documenting their day was a true joy!
