Winter as a photographer can be a pretty lonely time. We go from running around all summer long, to sitting at home working on boring stuff like taxes. This is why it makes me pumped when people are willing to venture out for winter engagement sessions. Yes, its freezing, but it’s worth it.
Ryan and Norah were the most fun, braving the cold for their engagement photos. We spent most of their session laughing and it was wonderful.
Fun fact: a lot of the island pretty much shuts down from November to March. Personally I love visiting during the winter, because we have all the beautiful sights to ourselves. We found some great spots around Acadia National Park, including one of my favorites, Otter Cliff.
I can’t wait to head back to Bar Harbor (during much warmer weather) for Ryan and Norah’s wedding! Keep scrolling to see some of my favorites from their session.
