From the moment I received an initial email from Michelle, I was excited for this day to arrive. A backyard beach-front wedding? Sign me up!
I spent that Friday evening with their family, photographing their welcome party as they headed out on the Finestkind cruise around Ogunquit. It was so nice to get to know everyone before the big day! The following afternoon I met Michelle at Haven By the Sea, a gorgeous inn in Wells. After getting ready with her close friends and family, she was surprised by a horse drawn carriage outside the inn to take her to the ceremony! If you know me at all, anything that involves horses means my day has been MADE, and everyone else seemed to feel the same way.
Their ceremony was full of love and all kinds of laughter. A favorite moment was when everyone went from lining the aisle to gathering in a semi-circle around Dennis and Michelle at the altar. The rest of their evening was just as sweet. Above and Beyond Catering served an amazing lobster bake and as soon as dinner was finished, no one left the dance floor all night thanks to Sowa Entertainment.
I am so thankful to have been there that capture Dennis and Michelle’s wedding day. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs.!
